Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) at Ericsson secures a PLM environment that integrates people, data, processes and systems to support an efficient business process. We ensure accessibility, traceability and automation to make data available throughout the entire product lifecycle for different needs with the goal to support Ericsson to meet customer needs in different stages of the product lifecycle. Solution Area HW within PLM is now looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions in key disciplines: Material compliance, Component mgmt., MCAD, ECAD, Product structure, Release mgmt. and Document mgmt.

As a PLM Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in defining a Discipline system architecture, integrating various systems, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to both drive and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of PLM transformation, driving innovation and efficiency in product development processes.

What you will do:

• Solution Design & Architecture: Develop and define the architecture for PLM systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, maintainability and security.
• Technology Integration: Work with the integration of PLM solutions with ERP, CAD, PDM, and other enterprise applications to create a seamless data flow.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders like Configuration managers, Design engineers, and Process owners to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• System Implementation: Oversee the deployment of PLM software, ensuring optimal functionality across all components in alignment with business needs
• Customization & Configuration: Identify necessary customizations and configurations in the PLM platform to enhance efficiency and usability.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and recommend improvements to enhance the overall functionality of the PLM ecosystem.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure that PLM solutions adhere to industry standards, data security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

The skills you bring:

• Demonstrable ability to drive initiatives and provide technical leadership. 
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams. 
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within PLM projects, preferably within the high-tech industry.
• Knowledge of PLM processes, product data management, and the product development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system integration, and data management principles.
• Experience with APIs, web services, and middleware solutions to enable system interoperability.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
