Manager Algorithms DPD

Radio & Transport Engineering (RTE), part of Business Area Networks, handles the end-to-end development of Radio and Transport products, including ASIC, FPGA, and software development and integration.

 

Product Engineering Unit (PEU) Radio, within RTE, focuses on the development, release, maintenance, and quality assurance of the Ericsson Radio Portfolio. It also drives technology strategy for future products, including components, modules, and ASICs.

 

About this opportunity:

 

As Manager of Algorithms DPD, you’ll join the TPM (Technology Platform Modules) DP Leadership Team with global responsibility for key technology elements of Ericsson’s Radio Platforms. You'll focus on driving development efficiency, pre-development, Silicon architecture, and product introduction of new algorithms. Your leadership, customer focus, and business acumen will be essential, along with fostering collaboration across departments and creating a diverse, inclusive team culture.

 

What you will do:

 

  • Lead pre-development, testing, and integration of DPD algorithms and power amplifier (PA) linearization.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, diverse team across multiple sites.
  • Secure collaboration with stakeholders in PA, Silicon, Radio product development, and product lines.
  • Manage supplier relationships and identify future development bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to defining long-term technology strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Focus on cost efficiency and time-to-market improvements in the development flow.

 

The skills you bring:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in radio product development and proven leadership.
  • Strong domain knowledge with established credibility in the field.
  • Experience in developing technologies, ASICs, algorithms, and Radio Platforms.
  • Understanding of signal processing challenges in radio development.
  • Experience with flexible digital platforms like FPGAs is a plus.
  • Strategic thinker, able to align contributions to Network R&D today and in the future.
  • Inspirational leadership, focused on growing high-performing teams.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to drive results across organizational boundaries.
  • Decisive, fact-based decision-making in challenging environments.
  • Relevant university degree.
