About this opportunity:
Are you an experienced IC Validation Engineer ready to make an impact? Join our global and dedicated IC Validation team within the Silicon Productization Engineering division, distributed to Lund (SE), Kista (SE) and Austin (US). You will play a key role based in Lund in validating and verifying state-of-art ASIC’s that are shaping the future.
This opportunity involves the entire process: from developing IC validation frameworks and executing electrical measurements to support product integration.

What you will do:
- Validate high-quality and high-performance IC products to meet rigorous standards, as well as customer expectations.
- Customize test scripts and test programs, specify test boards requirements, and create validation plans for new devices.
- Contribute to bring-up activities for new ICs, including initial manual debugging and investigations.
- Perform core electrical and functional validation measurements over PVT, perform power correlation exercises, and performance testing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide expert customer support when needed.
- Drive continuous improvements in processes, product quality, and validation methods.
- Coordinate the collaborations within global ASIC validation team
The skills you bring:
- Extensive experience with at least 6+ years in electrical validation and component-level functional verification, with strong hands-on expertise in lab setups and equipment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Matlab, and good knowledge of programming languages like C and C++. Experience in code repository management Git.
- Deep knowledge of ASICs, FPGAs, and hardware test setups, with proven ability to design and troubleshoot complex validation processes.
- Technical expertise in the technical areas, like SERDES, Ethernet, PCIe, CPRI, DDR, Power, Clock, I3C, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting validation data, diagnosing issues, and deriving actionable insights to enhance product quality and performance.
- Clear communication skills in both written and spoken English, with an ability to document technical findings effectively and collaborate across teams.
