About this opportunity:

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) at Ericsson secures a PLM environment that integrates people, data, processes and systems to support an efficient business process. We ensure accessibility, traceability and automation to make data available throughout the entire product lifecycle for different needs with the goal to support Ericsson to meet customer needs in different stages of the product lifecycle. It is about enabling the Ericsson digitalization journey.

 

Solution Area HW within PLM is now looking for a PLM Architect to join our team who has strong stakeholder focus and enjoys working in a multi-site, multi-functional collaborative environment. As a PLM Architect, you will lead the systemization, design and integration of PLM systems to optimize product development processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that enhance product data management and improve overall product lifecycle processes. This role requires a strong understanding of PLM systems, industry best practices, and the ability to drive solutions from conception to implementation.

 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define requirements and drive the overall PLM architecture strategy
  • Design and implement scalable PLM solutions that align with business objectives and improve product development processes
  • Lead PLM system integration efforts with other enterprise systems
  • Facilitate and drive system studies and PoCs 
  • Create, maintain and prioritize system study backlogs
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies and improvement opportunities within the end-to-end flow
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
  • Stay updated with industry trends and new PLM technologies, recommending solutions to address emerging business needs

 

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong and proven technical leadership within PLM, R&D or Supply with significant system development experience
  • Strong knowledge of product development processes, data management and engineering workflows
  • Consistent track record in driving innovation and future technologies
  • Proven ability to efficiently manage and prioritize tasks across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced within change management and transformation leading to operational excellence
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Excellent English skills in both writing and conversation
