About this Opportunity: 

This full-time position is based in Stockholm, Sweden, at PIMC algorithm section of Technology Platforms and Modules DPD and PIMC (TPM DP) within the Radio organization at Ericsson.  

As a developer in our team, you will join a high performing and highly competent team focused on developing next generation algorithms for our customers and radio platforms to bring customer value, quality and cost-efficient solutions.  

Together with the team you will collaborate and explore new ideas and solutions daily, in a flexible environment.  

Participate in early research to field trials together with our customers with an end-to-end mindset.

What you will do: 

Join our team working to deliver algorithms and architecture systemization for next generations ASIC/ Silicon and software solutions by collaborating with cross functional teams bringing a problem solving and can-do-attitude.  

Perform ASIC systemization, algorithm and early software development for IP development and verification, also with focus to shorten time to market for product releases using a shift-left approach.  

Contribute from pre-development/ research to product realization in ASIC and radio.  

Bring learnings from network trials into our development flows, to enable better solutions with cost and efficiency in mind, aiming for technology leadership. Give input and narrative to stakeholders and customers for technology and business strategies. 

Contribute to a speak up and collaboration environment.  

 

The skills you bring: 

  • Master or PhD degree in relevant field, e.g. mathematics, physics, telecommunications, engineering, embedded systems or similar.   
  • Minimum 3 years of working or research experience in relevant field.  
  • Experience of algorithm and software development/ research or both and an ability to systemize efficient solutions for ASIC and software implementation.  
  • Experience with C, C++, Python, R and MATLAB or similar languages.  
  • Experience or interest in ML/ AI with an open mindset but critical thinking to understand new opportunities.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets. 
  • Excellent collaboration and good communication and presentation skills.  

 

Nice-to-Haves: Interest and ability to work with large datasets to visualize impact and draw conclusions of complex problems/ system impact and translating narrative for technical and business strategies for internal and external use with our customers.
