About the Opportunity
Join our innovative team to take your expertise at Ericsson and elevate your ASIC verification to the next level. We specialize in the top-level verification of cutting-edge ASICs that power complex, high-performance systems. Integrated in multi-chip-modules are now usually replacing monolithic solutions. Our designs hold several hundreds of processor cores, DSPs as well as ARM cores, and many high-speed interfaces, including Ethernet, CPRI, and PCIe.
As an ASIC Top-Level Verification Engineer, you'll be part of a team tackling some of the most challenging verification tasks in the industry, ensuring that our ASICs meet our high standards for performance, functionality, and security.
You will play an important role in developing software driven tests used in CI regressions on our four platforms, SystemC/TLM simulation, RTL simulation, hardware emulation, and eventually on Silicon.
What you will do
• Participate in development of software driven tests written in C.
• Development of sequences for UVM VIPs, only required for some of our tests.
• Debug failing test cases using the SystemC/TLM platform, in RTL simulation or the hardware emulator, depending on available platform, type of failure and type of test.
• Contribute to keeping your tests clean in the CI regression running on our four run platforms.
• Work with gate level simulation (GLS), including timing simulations.
• Potentially, depending on need and interest, compilation and partitioning of designs to run in the hardware emulator.
Skills you bring
• Solid C programming skills targeting ASICs or other type of embedded software programming.
• Solid RTL debugging skills in SystemVerilog or VHDL designs, or potentially other types of debugging experience.
• Scripting experience, particularly in Python and possibly TCL
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Preferably also
• Knowledge in GLS with timing.
• Experience and understanding of hardware emulators.
• Knowledge on how compile and partition RTL designs to run in a hardware emulator.
Soft Skills
• Open, inclusive mindset, embracing diversity in culture, nationality, gender, etc.
• Collaborative approach, with a focus on team productivity and mutual growth.
• Strong drive for innovation, with a proactive interest in refining verification methodologies.
• Clear communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination across diverse teams.
