About this opportunity:

We are looking for a strong leader with broad experience from SW Development.

As Development Line Manager within SA BOS Engineering, Product Development Unit (PDU) Cross Solution & Platform, you will be leading a global Development unit with the responsibility of Common Product Development both within BOS and BCSS.

You are demonstrating a strong ability for innovation, collaboration and communication to foster cross-functional teamwork and drive cutting-edge solutions, together with result-oriented mindset. Your ability to drive change projects in a global environment is key for success.

The position is a line leader role for a unit that is responsible for development of the ADP generic service WCDB based on Cassandra, used in several Commercial Offerings in Ericsson, and BAM development (BOS Application Manager) used by Commercial Offerings within BOS. Our highly competent architecture and development teams are located in Karlskrona and Chennai.

Position is open for applicants in Sweden.

What you will do:

Operative accountability: 

• Service Owner of ADP WCDB, development, release and support in close collaboration with Indaiatuba WCDB Dev unit
• BAM Chennai development in close collaboration with Karlskrona BAM Dev unit
• Part of Competence hub for Cassandra and supporting organization with Cassandra queries
• Have ownership for deliverables provided by your teams
• Lead transformation activities towards process simplification and efficiency.

People accountability: 

• Build strong development teams for today and tomorrow with focus on critical skill competences as AI, cloud, security and technology leadership. 
• Secure high performing individuals and team in a global set-up.

The skills you bring:

• Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree related to Software Engineering 
• Broad experience from SW Development or similar within Ericsson - min 5 years experience 
• Experience from multi-cultural, cross-geography and distributed SW development
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills as well as curiosity and willingness to challenge status quo.
• Strong collaboration skills enabling cross teamwork.
• A great interest to coach and make people perform at their best.
• Passion to win and solution-oriented attitude.
• Role model for team by demonstrating high integrity with a strong focus on compliance  
• Proof-points from leading transformation and change
• Excellent in time management and master of implementation to a plan
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English
