About this opportunity:

Reporting to Head of Product Engineering Group 3

As a department manager within PEG 3 you have the senior role to support our teams in evolving our RAN feature SW portfolio, this by leading several sections with mainly developers. The teams work throughout the development cycle creating new customer functionality mainly within the L1 and BB Software domain.

 

What you will do:

  • As a member of the PEG3 leadership team, define and execute on the global strategy and priorities
  • Lead a team of approximately 150 employees and 270 partners, inspiring a highly competent and engaged team
  • Work to minimize obstacles hindering the team to progress
  • Actively seek new ways of working to improve quality and lead-times
  • Drive change and work to deploy AI within the organization
  • Work to support, empower, motivate, and grow the employees by giving them the best possibilities to deliver on their commitments and customer needs.

 

The skills you bring:

  • 5+ years product development experience in leading global large development teams, with a demonstrated passion for development
  • Strong domain knowledge to have the needed credibility with our teams, our customers and suppliers
  • Experience in developing evolving technologies
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or commensurate working experience.
