About this opportunity:
Our Innovate Graduate Technology Program will give you an outstanding opportunity to understand and take part in shaping our technology leadership and is the perfect fit for you who have a diligent, innovative, and creative approach.
As part of the Innovate programs you will be curious about how the next generation of technology will shape and influence the way we all live and work. The program will give you a chance to work with like-minded people who are pioneers in our business and advanced problem solvers in their chosen field. You’ll collaborate with them to solve some of the most challenging issues faced by our customers to ensure everyone worldwide is connected.
Your journey within the Innovate Program will start as Developer at Business Area Core Software and Services.
What you will do:
• Design and develop software applications using Python, SQL, C++ and Go. PERL is helpful too.
• Work with stakeholders to identify, document, and extract requirements for automations.
• Ensure the best cost-effective design from a product (or group of products) perspective.
• Promote adequate technology evolution and ensure the consistency of any applications and tools used.
• Focus on getting something working quickly and then iterating towards the final goal rather than coding/designing the whole thing before showing progress. This is the Agile approach which we support and recognize in Sapper.
• Perform application development support activities; Perform application specification analysis and design reviews.
• Support all stages of application lifecycle management; Perform 3rd level applications support.
• Learn about and use Google SRE best practices to ensure applications meet Ericsson standards and needs.
The skills you bring:
