About this opportunity:

We are currently seeking both recent graduates and experienced software developers to bolster our Test Framework team in Lund. At Ericsson, you are empowered to learn, lead, and perform at your best, shaping the future of technology. You will have the opportunity to rotate between different teams to build networks and expand your knowledge of technical domains. This is a place where you are welcomed as your perfectly unique self and celebrated for the skills, talent, and perspective you bring to the team.

Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing new functionality—from feature systemization to customer acceptance—as well as maintaining current products. The team systemizes, designs, and tests the software, taking joint responsibility for all team tasks.

What you will do:

As part of the Test Framework team, your focus will be on developing and enhancing the test tools that support Ericsson's Multi-Core Architecture ASIC, crucial for our RAN software applications. We are seeking individuals who can bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to our testing frameworks, whether they are recent graduates or seasoned professionals.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with fellow developers to design and implement robust test frameworks using C++ and Python.

- Engaging in coding, testing, and debugging to ensure our tools meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

- Participating in the verification and validation of new features and improvements within our testing frameworks.

- Supporting the transition and adaptation of our tools as we move toward 6G technology and standards.

- Contributing to innovation activities that drive improvements across Ericsson's operations.

- Working in a multicultural, cross-functional environment with a supportive team focused on achieving collective goals.

Your work will directly impact the development processes at the core of Ericsson's operations, ensuring our global telecommunications networks remain robust and efficient.

The skills you bring:

- Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent.

- Curiosity and skills to be a great embedded software developer, with a special interest in C/C++ programming for real-time systems.

- A collaborative, constructive, and can-do attitude, where creativity and focus thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace challenges.

- Dedication and a genuine interest in staying current with the latest technology trends.

- Strong technical communication skills for effective collaboration.

- A passion for troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in large systems.

You have an open mind and are eager to take on new challenges to continuously improve and work outside your own field to broaden your competence and gain a deeper understanding of our products.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or Java.

- Understanding of 5G/4G wireless communication and 3GPP specifications.

- Experience in x86 or multi-core DSP programming for real-time systems.

- Proficiency in design patterns for real-time embedded environments.
