We are looking for a Devops engineer to evolve and support our operations tools growing our automation.
Ericsson Mobile Financial Services: Mobile Money and Fintech
What you will do
Your role will include a variation of different development activities such as requirement analysis, software design, integration, verification, and address issues related to Operations automation. We offer the possibility to have a high growth in your software developer role and technical leadership and being challenged in different roles.
• Be part of MFS Operations team responsible to grow our automation. Our methodology is based on “Automate what can be automated”
• Work with customer driven development of a product
You will bring
The candidate enjoys working in teams with ability to lead and work in a multinational, multi-site, and cross-functional teams set-up. Additionally, we believe the candidate has good analytical and communication skills. High skills in oral and written English.
• Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Skills in software programming languages, i.e Java, JavaScript/TypeScript and Python as well as in industry standard frameworks like Java EE, OSGi, Angular etc.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud solutions
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for automated infrastructure management
• Understanding of basic networking concepts, VPNs, load balancing, and firewalls
• Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Splunk, or New Relic
• Knowledge of secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards
