Production Engineer 

Dams and Deposition at Aitik

Are you ready for an exciting career in the heart of northern Sweden's mining industry? We are looking for a dedicated production engineer who wants to help shape the future of mining projects. 

Your Role:  

As a production engineer, you will work with planning and follow-up of various construction works, such as support bank placement at dams and dam heightening. This is a new role, and you will have the opportunity to shape it together with us. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

• Production planning; preparation, follow-up, and reporting of the following points: 

- Production schedule and tonnage plan with resolution from daily to annual 

- The section's need for crushed material 

- Logistics planning - external and internal resources, loading sites, etc. 

- Design - based on support bank layout 

• Participating in and driving general improvement work as well as developing routines, instructions, and SOPs related to the tasks of the position. 

• Collaborating specifically with another production engineer in the team regarding support bank placement, as well as with other team members on related activities such as instrument heightening and deposition. 

• Planning routes and logistics for heavy machinery to ensure efficient production. 

Your Contribution: 

• You have a technical post-secondary education, preferably an engineering degree with a focus on environmental technology, road and water technology, construction technology, or similar fields. 

• Experience in mine planning or large-scale construction planning, such as road construction and earthworks, is a significant advantage. 

• Several years of practical experience in similar tasks within the field is meritorious. 

• Solid knowledge of theories and methods for construction machinery, as well as experience in planning and executing large-scale construction projects. 

• Ability to collaborate with colleagues and external partners to develop plans and solutions. 

• Analytical skills and a strong commitment to issues to help develop construction work further in the future. 

• Work is characterized by rapid changes, which requires you to have a long-term perspective while being able to make quick decisions with short notice. 

• We are looking for someone who is independent and can plan their own time. You are structured and solution-oriented with good collaboration skills, both internally and externally. 

• Meritorious knowledge in Deswik and Microsoft Project. 

• You are sociable and good at communicating with others. 

• A driving license, at least class B, and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, are required.
