About the role:  

We are seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to fill the role of Finance & Commercial Director. This position is crucial for conducting business controlling of our mining operations and managing concentrate sales, including logistics and administration. The role serves both as a common function for our business units and as a staff function for Boliden’s Mines, directly supporting the Mines President and work closely with Group CFO and Group Controlling.  

Key responsibilities: 

• Act as the business controller for the business area Mines, supporting business units and other common functions. 
• Coordinate the development of financial systems and contribute to various development projects with financial expertise. 
• Manage concentrate sales, logistics and administration. 
• Support the strategic process with business development, coordinating closely with all business units and staff functions. 
• Maintain order and clarity regarding the group’s and business area’s needs and secure approval of business area budgets. 

Candidate profile: 

• Relevant academic education in business and economics. 
• Experience as a CFO or similar role, preferably in the mining or industrial sector. 
• Experience in large companies with divisions and business segments; international experience is a plus. 
• Skills in reporting tools and financial analysis, with the ability to drive strategic progress. 
• Business-oriented, results-focused and responsible, with strong leadership skills.
