Your opportunity: 

Are you passionate about IT Security and Information Management? Boliden is looking for a dedicated professional to join our team as an IT Compliance & Information Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for translating industry, government, and contractual risk and compliance requirements into effective IT Security and Information Management frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices. You will ensure the delivery of day-to-day operations, such as remediation of non-compliant areas across all of Boliden's businesses and support internal and external audits in the areas of Information and Cyber Security, Risk and Compliance. 

Who you will work with: 

You will collaborate with various departments within Boliden, including IT, internal and external audit entities, and service managers. You will work closely with business and IT teams to align requirements and ensure compliance with established best practices, frameworks, standards, and regulations. Your role will involve facilitating productive meetings and working successfully in a team-oriented environment. 

What you will do: 

• Develop, implement, and manage risk and compliance management frameworks, policies, and processes. 

• Analyze and improve the efficacy of these frameworks and ensure controls are in place to meet legal and regulatory compliance. 

• Support technology teams in evaluating risks and controls, particularly for high-risk systems and applications. 

• Follow up on deficiencies identified in assessments and audits, ensuring appropriate remediation measures. 

• Provide expertise and recommend solutions to mitigate risks to Boliden's information assets. 

• Participate in risk assessments and manage Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery. 

• Consult on Information Security and Compliance and oversee tactical operations and processes. 

• Review and deliver information security performance summaries to leadership teams as needed. 

What you bring: 

• Experience coordinating efforts between IT and internal/external audit entities for scheduling, resource planning, and remediation efforts. 

• Experience aligning business and IT requirements, including translating business requirements into risk and compliance requirements. 

• Experience with policy and control development related to compliance requirements from relevant frameworks/standards/regulations. 

• Knowledge of established best practices, frameworks, standards, and regulations related to IT and Risk (e.g., ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, COBIT for Risk, COSO, GDPR). 

• A consultative approach with strong analytical and communication skills. 

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. 

• Ability to facilitate productive meetings and work successfully in a team-oriented environment. 

Merits as IT Compliance & Information Specialist: 

• 3 years of combined IT work experience with broad exposure to IT Risk, plus 1 year of direct IT Compliance experience. 

• Working knowledge of risk remediation/treatment techniques and implications across all platforms. 

• Experience designing and implementing risk and compliance best practices.
