Description
Boliden is seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team. You will lead our efforts in establishing and maintaining a robust cybersecurity posture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's operations, products, and services. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive information security strategies to protect our organization's sensitive data, infrastructure, and systems. The role also includes budget responsibility and KPI reporting. You will lead a team consisting of four SME`s. The job can be located at any of our business sites, and you will report directly to CIO at Boliden Group Function.
Key responsibilities:
• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate cyber risks.
• Lead the identification, assessment, and prioritization of security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint security solutions.
• Maintain (sourced or otherwise), a Security Operations center (SOC) service for IT operation on a group level.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and address weaknesses in our security controls.
• Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats, trends, and technologies to ensure the organization remains proactive and resilient in the face of evolving risks.
Experience & Qualifications
For this role we are looking for a leader that can inspire, motivate, and coach team members. You are structured and analytical and have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS Controls). You have strong knowledge of security technologies, including network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and cloud security. You can oversee information security and risk management in a complex, multi-platform environment.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar education or experiences.
• Leadership skills with a few years of experience in a senior leadership role.
• Communication skills in English and Swedish verbal and written with good ability to transform complex information into communication towards different target groups.
• Driver's license for a passenger car
